Notice to Readers Call for Abstracts: XIII World Conference on
Health Education, August 28-September 2, 1988, Houston, Texas
The deadline for submitting abstracts from the United States to
be
considered for presentation at the XIII World Conference on Health
Education is September 30, 1987. The deadline for submissions from
other countries is October 30, 1987. This conference is sponsored
by
the International Union for Health Education in cooperation with
ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø
and the U.S. Host Committee, which represents over 40 U.S. public
health organizations, including the American Public Health
Association, the American Medical Association, and the American Red
Cross. Other cosponsoring organizations are the National Center for
Health Education and the World Health Organization. The theme for
this
conference is "Participation for All in Health". A number of
special
topics--AIDS Health Education, Maternal and Infant Health, Helping
a
Billion Children Learn About Health, and Smoking and Health--will
be
emphasized. Inquiries related to the conference or to the
