Notice to Readers: Publication of the Updated Inventory of Managed-Care-Related Projects, 1998
ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø supports extramural projects in various managed-care settings and periodically inventories them to inform public and private prevention communities of relevant findings, products and ongoing efforts; and to provide benchmarks for new project development. In 1996, ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø published its first Inventory of Managed Care-Related Projects: Fiscal Year 1995-1996, which catalogued 83 activities. This latest release, the Inventory of Managed Care-Related Projects: 1998 (1), describes 107 projects covering a wide range of activities--from studies of behavior interventions to analyses of vaccine effectiveness to comparisons of health-care delivery systems, and including examples of successful collaborations between the public health and managed-care communities.
