Notice to Readers: Knight Journalism Fellowships Offered at ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø
The ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Foundation is now accepting applications for the Knight Journalism
Fellowships. Six mid-career journalists will work side-by-side with scientists and researchers
at ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø as Knight Journalism Fellows. The fellowship program lasts 4 months, beginning
in July 2001, and includes training with ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø's Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS)
officers. The fellows will explore epidemiology and biostatistics, study in depth a public
health issue of their choice, and experience public health activities in a local health
department. Application deadline is February 1, 2001. Additional information and an application
