About
The NORA Immune, Infectious, and Dermal Disease Prevention Cross-sector Council brings together individuals and organizations interested in preventing work-related disease. Council members share information, form partnerships, and promote adoption and dissemination of solutions that work. Learn more about what the council does and its current members.

Cross-sector description
The cross-sector focuses on work-related
- Immune diseases, such as contact dermatitis, allergic rhinitis, and asthma.
- Infectious disease, such as influenza, norovirus, and legionella.
- Dermal diseases, which are caused by chemicals that enter the body through the skin and injure individual organs or groups of organs.
The NIOSH Immune, Infectious, and Dermal Disease Prevention Program facilitates the work of the Council and coordinates NIOSH research in this cross-sector.
Members
The Council has two co-chairs, one from the NIOSH Immune, Infectious, and Dermal Disease Prevention Program and one from a partner organization.
The NIOSH Program manager, coordinator and co-assistant coordinator also help to facilitate the work of the Council.
