ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø and public health officials in several states are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to whole cucumbers. Since the last update on May 23, 2025, FDA testing identified the outbreak strain, as well as additional Salmonella strains, in cucumbers. The recalled cucumbers should no longer be for sale.

This outbreak may not be limited to the states with known illnesses, and the true number of sick people is likely much higher than the number reported. This is because many people recover without seeking medical care and are not tested for Salmonella.
