To apply to become a Science Ambassador Fellow, teachers and educators should follow these steps:
Summer course travel arrangements
Travel to attend summer course in Atlanta, Georgia is arranged and paid by ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø for those eligibleC. Please do not book your own arrangements.
ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø covers the following travel expenses for the course:
- Domestic airfare to and from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL)
- Per diem for meals and incidental expenses (at the government per diem rate).
- Reimbursement for:
- Hotel stays at a ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø-selected hotel (at the government rate).
- Transportation costs to and from your home and the airport.
- Parking at the airport.
- Transportation to and from the airport and your hotel.
- Up to one checked luggage.
- Hotel stays at a ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø-selected hotel (at the government rate).
- Summer course dates are tentative.
- Summer course attendance is mandatory. Summer course takes place at ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Headquarters.
- Those with a home address within 50 miles of ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø Headquarters are not eligible.
