U.S. clade II mpox case trends data will be updated the first week of every month. The majority of U.S. cases of clade II mpox continue to be in people who are not vaccinated or who have only received one dose of JYNNEOS. Two doses of JYNNEOS are recommended to provide maximum protection.
Trends of mpox cases reported to ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø during the clade II outbreak by date*
*Date is defined as the earliest date available regarding the case, beginning with date of illness onset, diagnosis date, positive laboratory test report date, ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø call center reporting date, or case data entry date into ÐÇ¿ÕÓéÀÖ¹ÙÍø's emergency response common operating platform, DCIPHER.
Case counts include those who tested positive for either mpox virus or orthopoxvirus as described in the case definition.
